A trip on a motorbike and more singing in the park!

I decided to go to the bank early this morning and check what was happening regarding a transfer I had made.  However, things didn't exactly go to plan!
When I woke up, I noticed that I had a good morning message from my neighbour.  We exchanged social media pleasantries and I went out for a walk to the bank.  When I got downstairs I saw her pushing her tiny electric motorbike*.  Seriously I was bigger and heavier than it was!
(compare it to the bike besides it!)

Well she dropped off cardboard at the recycling shop owner the road from the flats and I headed off into town.  Beep Beep!  There she was,  and there was my lift!  Well in for a penny in for a pound!  It was so low that I didn't have to climb in t the back seat.  Just opened my legs and walked bandy legged onto the back seat!  We were off!  Wobbling like a jelly!  My weight must have been more than hers and the bike combined!  We went down the main road and through junctions I parent even cross on foot! She dropped me off at the bank and carried on to the supermarket.  Adventure over...or so I thought!

An English (complete with brolly) in Jiangkou ...how does the song go?
So I went to the bank, sorted stuff out as best as I could, and then went home through the park.  Now there is always something happening in the park.  Today it looked slightly stranger than usual.  There was a 'team' dressed in camouflage gear, that's quite usual here, camouflage is popular, and a few in traditional costume.  I watched for a while.
Just a taste of some of the 'delicacies' on offer!  Dorothy, there's a place for you here!  (private joke) Then I spotted him.  The big guy in white.  He was standing to one side and had a, well it looked like a piece of church organ with the handle off a wood plane sticking out the side.  Wow!  Had to go to speak to him.  Turns out it was a sheng!  He was happy to give me a demo!

What can I say....then came the awkward bit.  He tried to talk to me.  I knew what he wanted, but ... Another woman came over and explained more clearly.  Then a girl came over.  She was one of the students from my school.  She made it crystal clear!  They wanted me to sing an English song.  I knew I had to but really didn't want to.  I cant remember the lyrics of any English song.  I said I would do it but would sing my 'party piece' Chinese song I had learned before I cam to China.  Little did I realise how useful this little song would be!  Fortunately, the Chinese are very accepting of people with a lack of talent!  The girl from school videoed me.  results below: (cringe)

Fortunately, the park was fairly empty at that time of the day, and my voice did not carry too far!
*surprisingly, at least for me, even in this little town, the majority of vehicles are electric!
