The basketball game...and the guy on the loo!
When I visited Tongren last weekend, the train security staff noticed a multi tool in my washbag. It was confiscated and sent to my friend. My friend's friend, the one who took me out to my first barbecue. She brought the tool back to Jiangkou for me. I contacted her late last night and she invited me to pick it up. She would be MC at a basketball tournament. The game was between employees of the bank and some local government. Even the cheerleaders were bank employees. Now there's a place to work! I decided to go to the basketball game, not the bank! Basketball is a very popular game here in China. There was however one surprise. I'd been warned about this, but this was my first 'first-hand' expereince of it. I just popped out to the loo. As I entered, directly opposite me, squatting down and using his phone was a guy 'doing his business'. Came as a bit of a surprise to me, but not to him... he didnt bat a...
